89.1 fm WBOI Fort Wayne is Northeast Indiana Public Radio’s flagship station, featuring NPR News and Information.  Our secondary station, WBNI 94.1 fm is currently serving up classical music programming twenty four hours a day.  Downtime is General Manager Joan Brown’s casual vehicle for sharing information about all the great things, and some of the not-so-great things, going on at the station.  We want our listeners, our members, and our community to gain a sense of what it’s like inside the NIPR, how we make decisions, and how we try to serve the public every day, all day.

The mission of Northeast Indiana Public Radio is to provide content that enriches the community and that’s our goal.  We’re grateful for the many partners – our individual members, our corporate underwriters, and our community funders – that work with us to achieve our mission.

You can visit the NIPR web page at www.nipr.fm.  You’ll find our program schedules, the ability to stream WBOI and WBNI, and links to NPR news and information.

Our general office number is 260-452-1189 and GM Joan Brown can be reached directly at jbrown@nipr.fm.
